Pastor Nate earned his B.A. in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas.  He received a Master of Christian Leadership Studies degree, a Master of Religious Education degree, and a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Va.  Pastor Nate completed his doctoral work from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, Kan., with a concentration in Congregational Health. In his research, Nate worked with the question, “What can be done to support pastoral retention within the first five years of ministry?”  From this research, Nate co-authored a book released September 2018 titled, “A Guide to Ministry Self-Care: Negotiating Today’s Challenges with Resilience and Grace.”

For fun, Pastor Nate enjoys woodworking projects, good jokes, lawn care (aka nice grass), exploring new places and spending time with his family.  He is married to Cosette who is an Elementary Teacher in Topeka, Kan.  Together the Marsh’s have two children, Shamonique (Nique), and Tyson (Tye), who joined their family through adoption.
