"The Prayer of Agur"
Pastor Nate will be doing a 3-week Bible study on "The Prayer of Agur" in conjunction with his Sunday message.
Agur is a person inspired by God to unscramble this exact conundrum. He takes a commonsense approach to life. In this strangely amusing chapter near the end of the book of Proverbs (30) reveals how you already might be in the center of God’s will. What a wonderful place to be, especially in today’s turbulent culture.
There will be two groups: Mondays at 6 p.m. and Thursdays at 12Noon via Zoom.
Books are $10 and can be picked up in the church office during business hours.
"Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted" (Women only.)
Interruptions. They're aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.
It will begin Thursday, February 25 at 8 p.m. on Zoom for seven weeks and led by Beth Hanes.
Book: $15.00, purchased in the church office during business hours.
A Bible study sponsored by Ladies In Faith Together, L.I.F.T.
